Sun Outdoors Ocean City Gateway

This place was great. The pond was a great time for fishing! The pool was clean and fun! The pump track was a hit. The rv sites were well kept and the cabins seemed to be as well. It is nice that they have security riding around at night. The arcade room was great and all the games actually worked! But the best part was being able to go to frontier towns water park that is included with your stay

We secured an rv site for fall classic car weekend. While this site is pretty close to ocean city (14 mins ) it is set back from rt 50 but there is significant highway noise at night. We reserved a spot close to the comfort center. We were mot told when making the reservation or when we checked in that the comfort center we used to make our reservation is permanently closed. To change our site would be an additional $250. The showers in the comfort centers are set. You cannot adjust temperature. The shower is timed. To add additional time you must depress the center button. Shower timing is about 2 mins. Not enough to wash yoyr hair. There are not pet poop bags. Make sure you bring your own bags. There is one set of dumpsters at the front of the campsite. Trekking your trash out daily. Even with these grievances the campsite is pretty spacious and well maintained. Lots of things for children -- playgrounds, activities, catch and release fishing. There probably is no perfect rv site but this one is pretty good.

Exceptionally clean campground and facilities. It's about 20 minutes to everything (beach, town, etc.), so consider that. If quieter and away from the congestion is what you're looking for, this campground fits the bill. The RV sites were pretty spacious and well marked. We do wish they had activities for the kids at the pavilion throughout the week and not just Thusday, Friday and Saturday's. We'd consider coming back.
