As Worcester County’s last remaining dairy farm, Chesapeake Bay Farms serves up ice cream that is in a completely different league.
The secret here is the high-quality, fresh milk from their own herd, which gives the ice cream an incredibly rich, dense, and creamy texture without being overly sweet. The moment you step out of the car, the aroma of freshly baked waffle cones hits you. The scoops are absolutely massive—a double scoop easily eats like a meal.

Do not skip the Banana Peanut Butter Cookie (it uses real, fresh bananas, not the artificial syrup flavor) or the Beans & Cream, which is packed with crunchy, chocolate-covered espresso beans.

This isn't just a quick ice cream counter; it’s a full country farm market. Inside, you can pick up farm-fresh artisan cheeses, raw milk, and pasture-raised beef. Outside, they have a gorgeous shaded lawn with rocking chairs and picnic tables. If you walk around to the back, you can see the farm animals, goats, and sheep, making it the perfect spot to stretch your legs and unwind.

P.S. Liz will definitely WALK back, EAT here again, and thoroughly ENJOY every single bite! ;)

Came here with my wife on our 1-year anniversary trip 😊 She suggested getting ice cream one evening, which I agreed to. As I looked up places nearby, I saw that this was only 7 minutes from our Airbnb. Off we went!

We arrived, and at first I was a bit confused because surprisingly, it was very quiet, we were the only visitors when we pulled in. We went inside the building and were delighted to see not only ice cream, but also cheeses, condiments, and many other food items this place makes! We both got a double scoop and both of our ice creams were good! I got the caramel fudge one and the peanut butter banana cookie one. Yum!

The vibe is so nice too. We chilled in the rocking chairs as we enjoyed our ice cream. We then walked around after we heard a guinea hen to see more farm animals! Some goats and sheep came up to greet us, what a surprise! I'm glad we decided to get ice cream this evening 😊🍦

Worth the detour! Nice little ice cream shop/farm stand nestled in the farmland of the Eastern Shore. Lots of fun and traditional ice cream flavors. Great selection of cheeses, jams, and salad dressings.
